Allied Carpets first started out in 1955, yes, 1955! wow. The Allied Carpets name has been synonymous with quality and value for many many years, and nothing has changed. Our goal remains to build and grow on this, to keep our focus on our customers. We hope to keep bringing you great products, and great prices. To go with this Allied Carpets is focused on customer service, maintaining the ethos over the years of putting our customers first in everything we do.

What’s changed?

Well. Allied Carpets has always been Britain’s high street carpet retailer, and in these challenging times, we’ve decided to keep things local. All of Allied Carpets’ products are now 100% British. We are looking to keep Britain great and have carefully selected all the best products for you, at the best prices, of all the best British manufacturers. So you can be certain when buying from us, that your purchase will be going towards keeping those pounds in Britain itself, helping build a better home for us all.

We’ve also started looking at our footprint, with an eye on the future, and trying to live in a greener world as far as flooring goes. We’ve added underlay ranges that are recyclable and recycled PU foam underlay as well as underlay that has been made from plastic bottles,  that have been collected from our oceans. So not only are we taking plastic bottles out of the oceans to keep our oceans cleaner and the wildlife in our oceans healthier, this is all being put to good use to recreate underlay for you in your home. Both are soft and comfortable. We bring samples of these with us when we come to measure, please ask your estimator for more information or samples. To go with that, we have carpets that are produced from ocean plastics as well. While we currently on serve the Wiltshire & Somerset area, we are looking to expand soon.
